Although mostly a reliever in his major league career, Pete Filson had one complete game on June 7, 1985 as a member of the Minnesota Twins against the Chicago White Sox. He gave up 11 hits, 3 earned runs, 0 walks and struck out 3. The Twins won the game, 6-3.

Filson is currently the pitching coach for the Newark Bears of the independent Atlantic League.
