[edit] Biographical Information
Pete Falcone was a left-handed pitcher who played for four different National League team between 1975 and 1984. He was used mainly as a starting pitcher during his career, having his best season with the St. Louis Cardinals in 1976, when he went 12-16, 3.23 and pitched 212 innings with an ERA+ of 110. He struck out the first six batters he faced on May 1, 1980, pitching for the New York Mets against the Philadelphia Phillies
In 1989, he played for the Orlando Juice of the Senior Professional Baseball Association and posted a 10-3 record. In 1990, Falcone pitched in 5 games for the Sun City Rays of the SPBA and was 1-2 when the league folded.
Falcone is the second cousin of Joe Pignatano.
