While playing for Bristol High School in PA in 1960, Pete Cimino scored 114 points in a single basketball game. He also threw a perfect game for the baseball team and signed for a reported $12,000 bonus in June of that year. His 114 points rank as the all-time record for a Pennsylvania high school basketball game, 22 ahead of the #2 player and 24 ahead of Wilt Chamberlain, the #3 player.
