Umpire Perry Costello was an umpire for nine years in the minor leagues and made it briefly to the majors in the 1990s. He was a college umpire from 1993-2008 and worked the 2002 College World Series, 2005 College World Series and 2006 College World Series. He has appeared on the international stage in the 1999 Pan American Games and 2008 Olympics.
