Paul Snyder worked for the Atlanta Braves' organization for over 40 years.
As a player, OF/1B Snyder played in the minors for the Milwaukee Braves from 1958 to 1964. He led the Three-I League with 153 hits in 1961 for the Cedar Rapids Braves and made the league's all-star team at first base.
Snyder managed for the Braves in the minors in the 60's and early 70's. From 1973 to 1976 he was the assistant farm director, and from 1977 to 1980 he was the farm director of the Braves. Snyder was the Scouting Director from 1981 to 1990, and was a special assistant to the GM from 1991 to 1995. Next, Snyder was the director of player development from 1996 to 1998, scouting director again in 1999, and was special assistant to the GM again in 2001-2002.
