Firstbaseman Paul Kirsch played 7 seasons of minor league ball (1977-1983), including three in the Cincinnati Reds chain: 1981 Tampa Tarpons, 1982 Cedar Rapids Reds, and 1982-1983 Waterbury Reds.
Kirsch managed in the Reds, Kansas City Royals, and Florida Marlins chains. He was a scout for the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in 1999, and has been the scouting supervisor since 2000. He was also a coach for the 1984 and 1986 Cedar Rapids Reds and was the hitting coach for the 1991-1993 Portland Beavers.
