Paul Carter came out of Southwestern Presbyterian University in 1914 and debuted in the majors later that year. He played seven years in the majors, including with the 1918 Chicago Cubs who won the pennant.
He was accused of fixing games in 1920 and banned from major league baseball.
Paul Carter pitched for the 1923 Kansas City Blues.
