Pat Paige pitched two games for the 1911 Cleveland Naps, winning one of them.
Paige was born in Paw Paw, MI, in southwestern Michigan. He had played many years in town ball, semi-pro ball and in the minors before coming up for his major league cup of coffee in 1911. In 1907 he was 15-6 with Charleston and in 1910 he was 24-14 with New Orleans.
Paige also managed the Muncie Fruit Jars in the Interstate Association during the 1906 season.
After baseball Paige was briefly a prison guard but mostly lived in Elkhart, IN and worked for the New York Central Railroad. In 1938 he became ill and went to live with his son in Wisconsin, where he died in 1939.
