Pitcher Pat Daneker played in the majors for three games in July 1999 with the 1999 Chicago White Sox, where he was the same age as teammate Paul Konerko.
Daneker was at the University of Virginia at the same time as pitchers Javier Lopez and Seth Greisinger.
After his major league year, Pat continued to play in the International League and from 2001-06 he played independent ball.
Daneker has been the pitching coach for the Staten Island Yankees in 2008-2010. He also spent 2007 as pitching coach for the Calgary Vipers.
