Infielder P.J. Forbes retired as a player in the spring of 2003 and managed the Lakewood BlueClaws in 2004 and 2005. In 2006, he became the skipper of the Reading Phillies. He was elected to the Rochester Red Wings Hall of Fame in 2006.
