Outlaw league

An outlaw league is a league that does not honor the contracts and agreements of Organized Baseball. Prominent past examples were the 1900 American League and 1940s and early 1950s Mexican League. Many outlaw leagues led to legal disputes with their signing of players felt to be under contract with established OB clubs.
