Brother of Art Jorgens, Orville Jorgens appeared in 144 games, all for the Philadelphia Phillies from 1935-37. He came to the Phillies from the Baltimore Orioles in the International League.
Although Art Jorgens was born in Norway, his younger brother Orville was born three years later in Rockford, IL.
Orville pitched for Montreal in 1938.
