Orsendo Clemencia had a 7.71 ERA for Curacao in the 1991 World Port Tournament. In the 2008 Haarlem Baseball Week, he gave up 3 runs in six innings. He was 4-1 with a 2.25 ERA for Santa Rosa in the 2008 Curacao season.
During the 2008 Americas Baseball Cup, the 44-year-old appeared in five of the Netherlands Antilles' eight games, going 1-0 with a 2.89 ERA; only Rafael Diaz pitched more games in the tournament. Only Johnny Gregorius had a better ERA for the Antilles, who won a spot in the 2009 Baseball World Cup. Clemencia got a win over Brazil, in relief. Clemencia was surprisingly not the oldest pitcher on the Antillean squad; Didi Gregorius was a year older.
