Oney Guillen is the son of Ozzie Guillen. A second baseman, he played for the Thunder Bay Border Cats in the Northwoods League in 2006. Guillen was drafted by the Chicago White Sox in the 36th round of the 2007 amateur draft. He debuted with the Bristol Sox on June 20, going 1 for 4 with a double and a run against the Bluefield Orioles. He hit .122 in 32 games for the team that year.
