Ollie Johns pitched in the major leagues for one week in 1905 with the 1905 Cincinnati Reds. While his ERA was 3.50, he gave up a huge number of unearned runs. In 18 innings, he gave up 7 earned runs and 15 more unearned runs. The Reds as a team gave up nearly 250 unearned runs in 1905.
Johns was a star pitcher at Dayton, winning 68 games there from 1905-08.
