Swedish-American pitcher Nick Soubiea joined the Elitserien in 2006. He went 6-2 with a 3.65 ERA that year for the Sundbyberg Heat and hit .333 in limited time afield. He tied for 4th in the league in wins. In '07, he was 6-5 with a 3.44 ERA and batted .310; he finished 5th in ERA and tied Nicklas Melin for fifth in wins.
In the 2007 European Championship, Nick allowed 3 runs in 8 2/3 IP and did not get a decision. In 2008, he was 2-0 with a 3.12 ERA.
