Nick Esasky was signed as a 1st round pick in the 1978 amateur draft by the Cincinnati Reds and scout George Zuraw.
- Career High 30 Home Runs & 108 RBI for Boston Red Sox in 1989.
- Signed multi-million dollar free-agent contract with the Atlanta Braves in 1990. Suffered vertigo shortly after and played in only 9 games for the Braves with no RBI.
- Hit his first American League home run on 4/10/89.
