Newt Kimball managed the Las Vegas Wranglers in 1947 when they played in the Class C Sunset League and were an affiliate of the Boston Braves. He managed the Wranglers again in 1951 when they were unaffiliated and played in the Southwest International League, also a Class C circuit. His overall managerial record was 145-138. The 1947 and 1951 teams finished 3rd and 5th, respectively.
