The Nashville Seraphs played only one season in 1895 as a part of the Southern League. They won the Southern League Championships that year. The team was managed by future major-leaguer George Stallings, who played outfield and first-base. Stallings had a .341 batting average and outfielder Frank Butler's average was .371.
