On June 6, 1933 the Wichita Oilers moved to Muskogee, OK and became the Muskogee Oilers. On July 31 they were evicted from their park and had to play their remaining games on the road. Overall the Oilers were 26-95, one of the worst records ever in the Western League - they were just 20-82 after leaving Wichita, KS and went 8-57 in the second half. Mort Cooper did spend some time on the team, which had a constantly fluctuating roster. The Oilers did not return in 1934.
