Mitch Lyden hit 214 home runs in the minor leagues, with a season high of 29.
After spending ten years in the minor leagues, he finally got the call to join the big league Florida Marlins in 1993. In his first at bat, he hit a solo home run off the Cubs' Jose Bautista.
