Minnesota-Wisconsin League
From BR Bullpen
In 1909 the former Northern League changed its name to the Minnesota-Wisconsin League though only one team remained from the 1908 season. The class D league was upgraded to class C in 1909 through 1911 but was demoted to D again in 1912 when it shrank from eight teams to four. In 1911, Red Wing and Wausau disbanded on June 26. Duluth and Superior left the league before 1912 and fielded teams in the Central International League. The league folded on July 1, 1912.
