[edit] Biographical Information
Catcher Mike Simon was a teammate of Honus Wagner on the Pittsburgh Pirates from 1909 to 1913 and then played a couple of years in the Federal League.
He was the second player to come to the majors out of Indiana University, and since the first, Odie Porter, played only one game, Simon was the first Indiana University player to have a career in the majors.
