Mike Jackson had four seasons in the big leagues, pitching for four different teams.
As a rookie with the 1970 Philadelphia Phillies, he was a teammate of Jim Bunning. With the 1971 Cardinals, he played with Joe Torre and Lou Brock. With the Kansas City Royals in 1972 and 1973, he was traded a couple of months before George Brett made his major league debut. He finished up with the 1973 Indians as a teammate of Gaylord Perry.
Jackson missed the 1966 and 1967 seasons due to military service.
He is not to be confused with another Mike Jackson.
