Mike Fontenot scored the winning run in the 10,000th victory in Chicago Cubs history on April 23, 2008; they were second franchise to have won so many (following the Giants). Fontenot had entered as a pinch-runner for Geovany Soto in the 10th and scored on a Ryan Theriot single.
