Outfielder Mike Dimmel appeared in 39 major league games. He was primarily a defensive back-up for the Orioles at a time when Ken Singleton was at the peak of his offensive abilities.
In 1975 he played for Waterbury. In 1980 he played for Arkansas. He also played in Mexico.
After baseball, he became an investment advisor. As of 2003, he lived in Dallas.
