Mike Capel was part of the 1983 University of Texas at Austin team that won the 1983 College World Series. He was on the team with Roger Clemens and Calvin Schiraldi. He also was on the Team USA that won Bronze in the 1982 Amateur World Series.
He pitched three years in the majors and eleven years in the minors.
