The son of Mike Bacsik, Mike Bacsik played for Team USA during qualifiers for the 2008 Olympics and went 0-1, allowing nine hits, five runs and two homers in five innings in their only loss, a defeat against Venezuela. He gave up Barry Bonds's 756th home run on August 7th, 2007 while pitching for the Washington Nationals.
