Emile Meola never won a major league game but he was immortalized for his 20-5 season with the 1934 Los Angeles Angels, considered by some the top minor league time of all time. He also pitched for Charlotte in 1931, another top minor league team.
His minor league career ran from 1928 to 1939. After baseball, he worked as a demolition contractor.
