Mike Kosman played five seasons 1939 to 1945, three in college, one in the Major Leagues and two in the minors. He served in the U.S. Navy's Marine Corps during World War II (GB). He had a sip of coffee with the Cincinnati Reds in 1944 and died at age 85 in 2002.
