[edit] Biographical Information
Third baseman Mike Blowers was signed as a 10th round pick in the 1986 amateur draft by the Montreal Expos and scout Whitey DeHart.
A member of the 1995 Seattle Mariners team, the cry of "Blower Power" echoed throughout the Kingdome when Mike Blowers came up to bat.
After retiring, he was a baseball analyst on Seattle sports radio station 950 KJR AM and later did post game on KOMO 1000 News when they broadcast M's games. In 2007, he became the color analyst on television games, partnering with Dave Sims. That season, he accidentally started the custom (for lack of a better word) of giving away Rally Fries at M's games.
