Miguel Ojeda caught for the Mexican national team in the 1999 Pan American Games. The team just missed qualifying for the 2000 Olympics. He hit .238/.304/.524 in the 2008 Final Olympic Qualification Tournament as Mexico again just missed an Olympic spot. He homered for their only run against South Korea, facing Kwang-hyun Kim.
