Miguel Batista pitched a scoreless 7 2/3 inning World Series start for the 2001 Arizona Diamondbacks. He has published a book of poetry - Sentimientos en Negro y Blanco. In English, that would be "Feelings in Black and White". He is also working on a crime novel.
