Middlebury College has sponsored baseball since 1881. Ray Fisher and Harry Hulihan are the only two major leaguers (as of 2007) who have come from Middlebury College. Both were pitchers who had above-average ERA's in the majors. The two were both active in the majors in 1920. Both were born in Vermont. Brian Hamm also went here.
