[edit] Team History
In 2003, the Canton Coyotes moved to Columbia, MO to become the Mid-Missouri Mavericks of the independent Frontier League. The team played its home games at Taylor Stadium, on the University of Missouri campus. The team had three very disappointing seasons on the field, never even finishing in the league's top ten. It even burned through five managers in its first two seasons. After the 2005 season, the team announced it was suspending operations while looking for a new home and has not been revived since.
