Outfielder Michael Vick was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the 30th round of the 2000 amateur draft but did not sign with the club. Vick played 5 seasons as quarterback of the Atlanta Falcons of the NFL and made the Pro Bowl 3 times before off-the-field legal problems put a promising career on hold for two years.
