First baseman Michael Aubrey was selected by the Cleveland Indians in the first round of the 2003 amateur draft.
He hit .400/.455/.967 in the 2002 World University Championship, leading in slugging and runs (10) and banging out 9 extra-base hits in 30 AB. He was the All-Tournament 1B.
Aubrey hit four home runs for the Syracuse Chiefs against the Durham Bulls in 2011. Gene Locklear, in 1977, had been the only prior Chiefs player to go deep four times in a contest.
