Metropolitanos (Serie Nacional)

The Metropolitanos are the lesser baseball team in Havana after the Industriales. They get less attention and have less success and many of their stars wind up being transferred to the Industriales. They began play in the Serie Nacional in 1974-1975 and have never won a title. Lazaro de la Torre and Rene Arocha are among those who started their careers here.
