Mem Lovett was in one game with the 1933 Chicago White Sox.
He was on the Park Board of Oak Park, IL and a field in the town is named after him.
This article states that Lovett graduated from the University of Chicago and quit pro baseball not long after his major league debut. He spent years running the recreation depatment in Oak Park.
