The brother of Clay Dalrymple and Les Dalrymple, Mel Dalrymple pitched one year in the minors, with the 1950 Salt Lake City Bees. He was 4-6 with a 5.97 ERA, walking 67 and allowing 99 hits in 89 innings. He threw 10 wild pitches. At the plate, Mel was 3 for 35 with 4 walks and a double.
