First baseman Matt Rizzotti played professionally from 2007 to 2012.

In 2005 with Manhattan College, Rizzotti hit .416 with nine home runs and 57 RBI in 48 games. In 2006, he hit .340 with nine home runs and 43 RBI in 57 games and in 2007, he hit .352 with 11 home runs and 43 RBI in 54 games.

Rizzotti was originally drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the 46th round of the 2004 amateur draft, however he opted not to sign. He was next drafted by the Philadelphia Phillies in the sixth round of the 2007 amateur draft and began his professional career that season.

With the Williamsport Crosscutters in 2007, Rizzotti hit .260 in 63 games. He played for the GCL Phillies and Lakewood Blue Claws in 2008, hitting a combined .278 with 10 home runs and 55 RBI in 106 games. In 2009, he played for the Clearwater Threshers and hit .263 with 13 home runs and 58 RBI in 101 games. He played for the Threshers, Reading Phillies and Lehigh Valley IronPigs in 2010, hitting .343 with 17 home runs and 76 RBI. In 2011, he batted .295/.392/.511 with 24 home runs and 84 RBI in 139 games for Reading. Despite his solid campaign, he became a free agent and the Minnesota Twins signed him. He struggled in their system, was released partway through 2012 and was signed by the Oakland Athletics. Overall, he hit .268/.336/.411 with seven home runs and 44 RBI in 94 games between the New Britain Rock Cats, Rochester Red Wings and Midland RockHounds.

Overall, Rizzotti batted .289/.381/.471 with 73 home runs and 344 RBI in 628 games over six seasons. He was a Organization All-Star and a Mid- and Post-Season All-Star in 2010 and 2011.
