Matt Palm is a college coach.
Palm hit .332 as a catcher in college, including .352 as a senior. Matt was then an assistant at Emory University followed by Indiana University in Bloomington. In 1999, he became head coach of Heidelberg University. He went 32-13-1 to set a new school record for wins. In 2003, they won their first regular-season title, followed by their first NCAA playoff trip in 2004. They were 41-10 in 2008 for another win record. He was named Ohio Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in 2000, 2004, 2008 and 2009. After a 40-6 season, he guided the school to the 2010 Division III College World Series.
