Matt Pagnozzi, a catcher in the St. Louis Cardinals organization, is the nephew of former Cardinal All-Star and Gold Glove catcher Tom Pagnozzi. He was one of two catchers to pitch in - and get the decision - in a Texas League contest on July 14, 2008. Pagnozzi threw 3 shutout innings in the second half of a doubleheader but allows four runs in the 13th to the Tulsa Drillers; the winning pitcher was Brian Esposito, who was Pagnozzi's teammate on the 2007 Memphis Redbirds.
