[edit] Biographical Information

Matthew LeCroy won a bronze medal for the United States at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. In the 1999 Pan American Games, he was a backup DH for the USA and was 1 for 3 with a double and a run.

LeCroy signed on as the manager of the Hagerstown Suns in 2009 and has since remained in the Washington Nationals farm system as manager at various levels. LeCroy led Hagerstown in 2009 and 2010, the Potomac Nationals in 2011, and the Harrisburg Senators in 2012 and 2013. In 2014, he moved up to the parent Washington Nationals as their bullpen coach and was dimissed at the end of the 2015 season along with manager Matt Williams and the rest of the coaching staff.
