Marv "Rotty" Rotblatt pitched 35 games in the majors during 1948 and 1950-51.

He was at the University of Illinois during 1945-48 along with four other future major league pitchers.

Signed as a free agent in 1948, he started in the minors by going 8-1 and was in the majors by July. In 1950 he went 22-9 for Memphis and was in the majors part of the season, and in 1951 he split his time between the majors and Memphis again, where he went 6-2. In 1954 he went 12-7 for Memphis.

At age 23 with the 1951 White Sox, he went 4-2 with 2 saves and an ERA of 3.40 in 26 games. He was the same age as teammate Nellie Fox.
