L. Mark Purtell


Mark "Marty" Purtell, brother of Billy Purtell, managed in the minors for 18 seasons. He was a minor league infielder for most of the 1920s and 1930s. He also scouted for the New York Giants, Boston Braves, and Pittsburgh Pirates (1952-1955).
