Marlan Coughtry played for four major league teams during two seasons in the majors.
He was with Minneapolis in 1959-60 (Carl Yastrzemski was there in 1960).
John Updike's essay in the New York Times in 1960 about Ted Williams' last game ("Hub Fans Bid Kid Adieu") mentioned Coughtry.
