Mark Brewer has been a baseball coach for about two decades. Brewer started his career in 1992 as pitching coach at the University of Texas. In 1998-1999, he was pitching coach at Oral Roberts University; he was also a pitching coach in the Texas Rangers and Los Angeles Dodgers chains from the 1993-2000. From 2001-2004, he was the Dodgers' Minor League Pitching Coordinator. He was pitching coach for the 2005 Omaha Royals, 2006 Binghamton Mets and 2007 New Orleans Zephyrs. In 2008, he was the New York Mets' Latin America Pitching Coordinator. He was Rehabilitation Coordinator for the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2009. In 2010, he came back to the Mets chain to again work as Binghamton's pitching coach, then moved to the GCL Mets in 2011 and Buffalo Bisons in 2012. Brewer was pitching coach of the Asheville Tourists in 2014-2016 and Albuquerque Isotopes in 2017.
