Marin Farkas pitched for Croatia in the 2007 European Championship, going 0-1 with 8 runs and 14 baserunners in 5 innings; he took the loss against the Dutch national team. In the 2008 European Championship Qualifiers, the southpaw allowed 3 runs in 7 innings and picked up a crucial win over Lithuania to help Croatia win a spot in the 2010 European Championship.
