Mal "Kid" Eason was a ballplayer and umpire.

As a major league pitcher he lost 2/3 of his games, but pitched a no-hitter in 1906. His best season was 1902, when he posted an ERA of 2.61.

Eason won 26 games for the 1904 Jersey City Skeeters.

He umpired in the National League from 1910 to 1915 and the Pacific Coast League from 1919 to 1922. Prior to his major league days he had also umpired in the Eastern League and the Southern Association.
